No Bucks No Buck Rogers

As the many on the edge of their seat readers of this blog might have surmised, funding for this particular project had fallen through before it got off the ground. We have spent several years applying for grants from both the public and private sectors in order to go forth with this important research. It would seem, however, that in these harsh economic times, the already difficult task of winning grants and otherwise groveling for money is further hindered when the major keyword in the grant application is the word "donut."

The Hunt Begins

This is a journal about my search for the IDEAL DONUT.

I think of donuts, as such, as mostly an American thing, as in the Untied States, but I guess I don't really know. Maybe there are better donuts here and there around the world. But right now, due to my international ignorance and lack of funds, I'm going to confine my search to the 48 or 49 states I can get to. And even then, it's going to take awhile.
